New operatory in Vernon for affordable dental care

New space for fair care

A new operatory has been opened at the Vernon Community Dental Access Centre to create space for residents who are seeking more affordable dental care.

The CDAC originally had four when they opened their doors seven years ago, but due to increasing client numbers they needed a little extra room to accommodate everyone that's coming in.

"We are a low-cost, privately-owned clinic that is looking to provide dental care for those who may be struggling financially," says Linda Lutz, the Clinic Manager at the CDAC. "We offer basic dental work for the people that need affordable work done."

The clinic will provide basic dental, which includes cleaning, fillings, extractions and basic root canals.

The CDAC will be hosting an open house tonight at 5 p.m. to officially reveal the new operatory to the public.

"The open house is also a celebration for the services we've been able to provide for all these years," says Lutz. "For seven years we've been working hard and we want to share our celebration with the people of Vernon."
