Homes and businesses in the foothills area and Silver Star Road will have a different garbage day coming up.

Starting on Nov 18, garbage collection for these parts will be switching from Friday to Monday. The shift doesn't affect recycling pick up since those are maintained by different services.

This change is because of an increase in population on the foothills, so a new service day will be implemented to accommodate the numbers.

The last Friday pick up for the area will be on Friday Nov 15.
