Residents of Penticton are being invited to take advantage of two unlimited yard-waste collection weeks this month.

During the weeks of Nov. 11 to 15 and 25 to 29, residents can put out unlimited paper bags or containers containing only yard waste on your regular day of collection. A separate collection truck will be collecting yard waste during those weeks after waste in the regular city-issued carts have been collected. 

Yard waste should be placed at the usual collection point by 7 a.m. on regular garbage day inside paper bags or reusable containers marked as “yard waste”. 

Branches should be bundled with string no more than three feet in length and 50 pounds in weight.
