Vipers lose back to back

It's been a tough weekend for the Vernon Vipers, as they lose back to back games against the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Vernon dropped both games on the road, 5-2 on Friday night and 3-2 last night.

The Vipers had a 2-1 lead heading into the third, but Tyler Ghirardosi buried two goals in the final frame that put the Smoke Eaters on top.

Cameron MacDonald and Matt Kowalski scored for Vernon in the loss.

The Vipers look to get back on track Wednesday night when they hit the road to take on the Prince George Spruce Kings. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
