RCMP seized a large cache of weapons and stolen property from a home in Langley.
A search warrant executed Oct. 10 at a home on the 7500 block of 202A Street followed a fraud investigation into a Surrey incident in early October.
Items seized in the raid included:
- Two loaded firearms
- Two replica handguns
- Three crossbows
- Three sets of body armour
- Firearms ammunition
- Six stolen vehicles
- Multiple conducted energy weapons
- Swords, brass knuckles, and various other weapons
“Taking these weapons off of the streets is significant and will have a direct impact on public safety,” said Sgt. Ed Hryciuk of the Surrey RCMP. “This is an example of how a report received from the public can lead to a larger investigation that has a positive outcome for the community.”
Nine people were inside the home during the search and were released pending further investigation.
