Drugs seized in raid

Police made four drug-related arrests in the North Okanagan Wednesday.

Vernon’s RCMP Target Policing Unit, with the assistance of the South East District Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant in the 4000 block of Old Kamloops Road where they found drugs and money.

Cpl. Tania Finn said on Oct. 9, at approximately 3 p.m., a male and female were arrested in a vehicle on Longacre Drive, resulting in the seizure of drugs and money.

“Immediately following the arrests, the South East District Emergency Response Team executed the search warrant at the Old Kamloops Road residence, resulting in the arrest of a male and female. During the search, additional drugs were seized,” said Finn. “All four subjects remain in police custody and the investigation is ongoing.”

Police did not say what kind of drugs were found.
