I encourage and support the kids and their right to demonstrate.
However, we need to open the dialogue.
Where exactly would they like to make changes? They have to start in their own backyard.
As an old guy, I have been involved in trying to make change for a long time.
I recycle, cut up all my plastics and do not litter. I say this because take a look at the stores and fast food outlets near schools after lunch. The litter is atrocious, and this is what gets into our lake.
So if you really want to fight climate change, start near to home.
