A police car has been involved in a three-car crash on the edge of Penticton’s downtown.

A grey Jeep, RCMP cruiser and third vehicle collided at the corner of Winnipeg Street and Eckhardt Ave West Thursday evening. Emergency crews at the scene could not immediately comment on the cause. 

Tow trucks were required to clear the scene.

There were no injuries in the crash. The incident does not appear to be related to the search for a suspect of an armed carjacking on Eastside Road Thursday afternoon.
