Warriors add forward

Dealing with the uncertain return of forward Parm Dhaliwal, the West Kelowna Warriors have added a veteran presence to their forward group.

The Warriors Thursday acquired 20-year-old forward Trevor Adams from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for future considerations.

Over two full seasons with the Silverbacks, Adams had 30 goals and 36 assists in 110 games. He scored once in three games to start this season.

“Trevor adds veteran experience to our group” said head coach and GM Brandon West.

“He’s a tenacious player that can contribute to our offense with his skill. We’re excited to add Trevor to our lineup”.

The acquisition of Adams brings the Warriors roster to the 23-man limit.

Dhaliwal, along with defencemen Jake Harrison and Garrett Ewert remain sidelined with injuries.

Adams will join the Warriors in time for tomorrow night's tilt in Merritt.

The Warriors return home to host the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Both Merritt and Trail are winless to start the season.
