BCHL showcase tix on sale

Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 BCHL Showcase Festival next month at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Eight games involving nine teams will be played over two days at the SOEC, giving hockey fans a chance to see the very best the league has to offer.

The showcase is new to Penticton this year, previously held in Chilliwack since its inception in 2012. The four-day event is now being shared between the two cities, with play running in the Fraser Valley on Oct. 2-3 and in Penticton Oct. 4-5.

The event will feature a Hockey House with a variety of activities for kids and families. On Oct. 4, the league will host a panel including NHL legends and BCHL commissioner Chris Hebb for a discussion that will cover their playing careers and the game of hockey today.

Tickets for the event are now on sale, with $10-day passes for all non-Vees games while Penticton games remain at regular pricing at $15 for adults and $13 for seniors with local children 18 and under getting free admission.
