CRIME:            FOUND CAMERA

DATE:              August 20, 2019

RCMP FILE:    2019-51902

A man out on his morning walk made a discovery in a ditch on Beaver Lake Road by Vernon Creek on August 20th, 2019.    The Pentax camera and its bag were tossed aside, most likely stolen in a break and enter.  If you can positively identify the camera, bag and contents, Lake Country RCMP would like to hear from you at 250-766-2288.

CRIME:            THEFT OF TOOLS

DATE:              August 15, 2019

RCMP FILE:    2019-50533

A worksite located on the 3700 block of Woodsdale Road has been hit by thieves twice in the last month.  A seacan on the property was broken into on July 17th, 2019, with many tools being taken.  On August 15th, Lake Country RCMP were contacted again when a construction worker found his large locked tool box opened by a bolt cutter.   Missing tools include a coil gun, air paslode nailer, gas paslode nailer, 2 Milwaukee saws, a sawzall, 2 stilettos, 4-5 Milwaukee batteries, a Dewalt 9 amp battery, a hickory-handled Vaughn hammer and a harness.
