Rolling thunder for PTSD

The third annual Rolling Barrage coast-to-coast bike rally arrived in Kelowna Tuesday, nearing the finale of the trip.

Presented by Military Minds, the motorcycle rally takes place over 11 days.

The fundraiser supports veterans, serving members and first responders in an aim to end the stigma around post traumatic stress disorder.

"We've travelled just about 25,000 kilometres now with no injuries and such great support from all the communities we've been going through," said founder Scott Casey.

About 70 riders made their way into Kelowna for the night, before taking off Wednesday for the final leg in Burnaby.

"It's really overwhelming and humbling, too, to find so many people that are really supportive of our vets and first responders," said Casey.
