More Unplanned planned

A fourth private screening of the controversial pro-life movie 'Unplanned' is scheduled for the Central Okanagan.

The Kelowna Right to Life Society has booked the Xtreme 8 in West Kelowna for Monday, July 29. It will show at 7 p.m.

Tickets will be available online only. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Society executive director Marlon Bartram advises anyone who wants to see the movie to purchase tickets as soon as they go on sale, as tickets for the first three screenings sold out very quickly.

Bartram says the society is continuing to look for further dates to show the movie.

While the movie is not being shown publicly in Kelowna, it is showing for matinees at the Towne Theatre in Vernon.

Planned showings at the Salmar in Salmon Arm were cancelled after the theatre received threats.

Advocates of the movie have been critical of Canada's largest theatre chains, Cineplex and Landmark, who are showing the movie on only a handful of screens across the country.
