Support for fire season

The Canadian Mental Health Association - Vernon & District wants to help people through another summer fire season.

Speakers will talk about wildfire preparedness, programs and services available in the community and ways to boost mental health during the smoky season.

There will also be time to ask the speakers any questions and light refreshments, water and coffee will be provided.

For more information, contact Naaz Grewal at [email protected] or at 250-542-3114 ext 226.

The Wildfire Resiliency Information Session will take place in the meeting room at the Vernon Library from 2-3:30 p.m. July 25.

“We will also have Wildfire Resiliency Drop In Sessions happening every Wednesday from July 31 to August 28. They are free one hour drop in sessions focusing on improving different aspects of one's well-being. They are in the board room at the Vernon Library,” said Grewal.
