A full-size pickup crashed into a pond off Glenmore Road North Wednesday evening, after the truck’s front wheel fell off while travelling down the road.

The GMC ended up in the pond shortly before 5:30 p.m., ending up half submerged.

The driver, who was unharmed, tells Castanet News a front wheel fell off, causing him to veer into the water. The truck was removed from the pond with the help of a tow truck.

The driver had just picked the truck up after having work done on it.
