Vancouver Police are investigating an overnight shooting that claimed the life of a man Tuesday night.
The death is Vancouver's fifth homicide of 2019.
Police were called to the area of Main and East 35th Avenue about 9:45 p.m. for reports of a shooting at an apartment building. They discovered an adult male in his thirties deceased from a gunshot wound.
Police flooded the area and arrested a 30-year-old Vancouver man in connection to the offence.
The building is still behind police tape, and officers were seen guarding the second floor, CTV News reports.
