Kamloops RCMP are looking for the driver of a suspicious vehicle that followed two young girls.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said on June 25 at approximately 2:40 p.m., two students from Beatty Elementary School were walking home on Dalgleish Drive when a vehicle described as a dark grey or dark blue SUV appeared to be following them.

“A resident in the area noticed the vehicle and called the students over, at which point the vehicle departed,” said Shelkie. “The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle is described as a South Asian male, medium height, slim build with a moustache. He was wearing a blue hat and blue T-shirt.”

Shelkie said at this point it is unknown what his intentions were.
