Firefighters are responding to reports of a burning camper in the Joe Rich area, east of Kelowna.

Fire crews were called to Dave's Road, just past the Highway 33 hairpin, just before noon.

It's not known if anyone was in the camper when it caught fire, but smoke could be seen coming from the vehicle.
