There will soon be a new way to see Victoria’s Gorge Waterway and Upper Harbour this summer.
“Canada’s first hot tub on water,” Hot Tub Boat Canada, will start renting floating hot tubs in the city July 6, reports CTV News.
The dutch-built hot tubs can hold up to six people and will be available for 1.5 hour self-guided rides for about $65 per person. The hot tubs are heated with a stove that burns briquettes.
The company says a boat license is not required, but all captains must be 19 years old and all occupants 12 years old. There are also plans in the works to launch in Kelowna this year, according to the company’s website.
