Drive BC reports the highway is now clear and back to regular traffic flows.

UPDATE: 12:21 p.m.

Vernon RCMP report that Highway 6 east of Lumby is open with traffic being rerouted around debris left at the scene of a vehicle incident.

Const. Kelly Brett, media relations officer for Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, said crews are on scene at this hour. "They are just picking up the logs now and traffic is being routed around it," Brett said.

"The highway is not closed. There may be moments of closures as they are trying to flip the semi back right side up."
