Minor injury in crash

UDPATE 4:15 p.m.

The Penticton fire department says one person was taken to hospital in an ambulance after the crash Wednesday afternoon on the Channel Parkway.

The injuries were minor, with the hurt driver of the grey sedan on his own feet and walking himself to the ambulance.

It appears the grey car rear-ended a large white box-truck. The truck was mostly undamaged.

UPDATE: 2:28 p.m.

Castanet's Colin Dacre is at the scene and says traffic is clear in both southbound lanes, but northbound has only one lane which is backing up.

A white box van is one of the two vehicles involved, which appears undamaged.

The four-door sedan appears to have rear-ended the van, causing significant damage to its front.
