A burn pile that got out of control was quickly taken care of by firefighters. 

Witnesses in the area say everything is under control at 10:45 a.m. and firefighters have cleared the area.

Firefighters are responding to a burn pile that has reportedly got out of control.

West Kelowna fire chief Jason Brolund says crews received the call just after 10 a.m. and are on route.

It appears the fire is on Preston Road.
