Police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting in Surrey on Tuesday.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirms Khan Micheal Bourne, 32, of Sechelt was the victim of homicide. Bourne was known to police.
He was found with gunshot wounds about 3:20 p.m., lying in the street on the 13300 block of 114th Avenue and died later in hospital.
IHIT is seeking the public's help in its investigation and believes Bourne was "targeted for murder,” says Cpl. Frank Jang.
A vehicle fled the scene immediately after the shooting, and investigators are now canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses, surveillance and dashcam footage.
