The skis are put away. Time to dig out the mountain bikes.

Silver Star Mountain Resort has launched early bird bike park pricing for riding enthusiasts.

The Star has more than 120 kilometres of purpose-built trails and features a progressive trail network for all ability levels, with hundreds of berms, jumps and features to challenge any rider.

Thrill seekers can get their adrenaline pumping with the downhill runs, while the cross-country trails offer a more leisurely ride.

A new Enduro XC season pass will allow access to all Silver Star cross-country trails and two daily rides on the Comet chairlift, for easy access to the upper trails.

“Silver Star believes it's extremely important for youth to get plenty of exercise and fresh air. This summer, to ensure youth and kids are getting out to ride, Silver Star has lowered its price for early bird youth and child season passes,” said resort spokesperson Chantelle Deacon.

The Cranked Kids program makes mountain biking "fun and safe for kids while making new friends, enhancing their skills, and creating the next generation of fit and healthy mountain bike riders," said Deacon.
