Traffic on Highway 97 and Spall in Kelowna was impacted Monday mid-morning after emergency crews rushed to the scene of what turned out to be a medical emergency.

Officials indicate a man collapsed of an apparent heart attack just before 10 a.m. Monday morning. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and the individual was transported to hospital.

Traffic has returned to normal.
