The City of West Kelowna has scheduled what it calls a special announcement concerning the Rose Valley Water Treatment Plant.

It was anticipated construction of the new $49 million treatment plant would begin late last year.

However, construction has not yet started.

The city received a $41 million federal and provincial grant in March of 2017.

Monday's announcement will be made at 2 p.m. at the end of Rosewood Drive in Rose Valley.
