UPDATE: 5:25 p.m.

Traffic is moving again along Springfield Road.

The westbound lane was blocked at Cooper Road following a two vehicle collision.

The wreck has now been cleared.

ORIGINAL: 4:15 p.m.

It's slow-going westbound on Springfield Road near Orchard Park Mall.

The culprit, a two-vehicle crash at Springfield and Cooper roads shortly after 4 p.m.

The crash involved an SUV and a four-door sedan.

The sedan suffered extensive damage to the front end.

A witness at the scene says the crash is affecting traffic heading west in the right lane.

Drivers of both vehicles have apparently been taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Emergency crews are on the scene.
