New discount airline Swoop will soon be flying direct to Las Vegas from Kelowna.
Swoop, which is WestJet’s ultra-low-cost carrier, will start offering direct flights from Kelowna International Airport to McCarran International Airport on June 27. The twice-weekly flights, which will take place on Thursdays and Sundays, will continue until Oct. 26.
"Las Vegas and Swoop make the perfect combination for Kelowna travellers," Swoop’s senior communications advisor Karen McIsaac said in a press release.
"Our flights are non-stop and remarkably affordable, encouraging the freedom to fly more often while leaving more money to spend on the experience.”
