Tal Kalum LaRiviere is back in custody.

Police say the Okanagan man, who had been serving his parole in Prince George, was arrested Monday.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for LaRiviere Saturday for being unlawfully at large after he failed to show up at his designated residence.

Police say LaRiviere was arrested in Alberta.

An Okanagan man serving his parole in Prince George is the subject of a Canada-wide warrant.

Police issued the warrant for Tal Kalum LaRiviere, 31, after he failed to meet conditions of his release after failing to show up at his designated residence in Prince George.

LaRiviere is described as Metis, about 6'2", 194 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

RCMP say all efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

LaRiviere has connections in Vernon and Grimshaw, Alta., and may be travelling in Northern Alberta or Northern B.C.

He is believed to be travelling in a blue 1994 GMC 1500 pick-up bearing BC licence plate MY9880.

If you see LaRiviere or his vehicle, you are asked to contact your local RCMP detachment or 911.

RCMP say LaRiviere should be considered violent.
