'Under the sea'

The Rotary Centre for the Arts is putting on a party that is sure to make you forget about all this snow.

The theme is 'under the sea' featuring special performances between Kinshira, The Oot n’ Oots and the kids of Arts Blast 2019.

The proceeds of this event support a bursary program that ensure equitable access to our arts education program for children and youth.

“It is vital that young people grow up knowing they are co-creators of the cultures they inhabit, that their unique creativity, intellect, love, ethics and other capacities contribute to the creation of our shared world.''

''Making sure kids have a chance to deeply know this is the goal of our arts education programs. It is vital that all kids have equitable access to such programs," RCA Executive Director Tyler Russell.

The event takes place on March 30th.

The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and appetizers.

The Rotary Centre for the Arts will be transformed into the deep blue ocean allowing guests to dive into the depths of their imagination.

''At 8 p.m. everyone gets together in the Mary Irwin Theatre to celebrate art and its significance to our community," Russell added.
