Warming as week continues

It's going to be another chilly week in the Okanagan.

Environment Canada is forecasting snow off and on and temperatures to remain below freezing until the end of the week.

''We are going to have a bit of snow coming through with the next system here, but we will probably see about two centimetres around the Kelowna area," says meteorologist Bobby Sekhon

"Temperatures will warm up near the end of the week, close to the seasonal average for this time of year," Sekhon adds. 

Today is not expected to get above -9 C, and temps will gradually warm through the week, with highs of -6 C Tuesday and Wednesday along with periods of snow.

Thursday and Friday will see snow and highs of -1 C. 

And the thermometer will hit zero on Saturday and Sunday, with a chance of showers and cloudy periods.
