Armstrong's Ranch Liquor store was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.

RCMP say a male suspect entered the Pleasant Valley Road liquor store just before 10 p.m., brandishing a sawed-off shotgun.

The suspect demanded the employee hand over the cash drawer and cigarettes, then fled on foot. The employee was uninjured.

Police conducted extensive patrols, says Cont. Kelly Brett, but the suspect was not found. 

The suspect is described as: male, about six feet three inches tall, with a thin build, and was last seen wearing a dark blue or black jacket, a black bandana, sunglasses and black pants.
