Power lines are apparently OK at the scene of a crash into a utility pole in Okanagan Landing.
Police have "terminated their command," meaning the incident is over.
Witnesses say the pickup swerved off Okanagan Landing Road, heading towards Vernon, and up a driveway, where it struck the pole.
UPDATE: 3:55 p.m.
One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
There's no word on the patient's condition.

A vehicle has struck a utility pole, and power lines are down in Vernon's Okanagan Landing.
One person is apparently pinned in the crash, which happened on Okanagan Landing Road, near Bench Road.
Castanet has a reporter headed to the scene.
Firefighters have been dispatched to extricate the driver from the vehicle, and Hydro crews are also on their way.
