A rental minibus-type van rolled on slick streets Sunday night at Big White.

Dep. Fire Chief Derek Henderson of the Big White Fire Department says the private van rolled about 7 p.m. at a sharp bend on Big White Road, just below the village.

Only one person was on board at the time, and the driver got himself out of the overturned van before first responders arrived. The man was not injured.

The crash took out a stop sign at the corner.

Paramedics and RCMP also attended the scene.
