Over 600 people gathered to celebrate building excellence in the Okanagan Valley on Saturday night.

The Tommie Awards started off with an announcement of rebranding for their 27th year. 

The award ceremony, which was held at the Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel,  is a night to recognize and celebrate Canadian homebuilders of the Central Okanagan.

Finalists were from projects built, renovated, created and or marketed between Jan. 1, 2017 and Sept. 30, 2018. 

The award ceremony will now be called the Okanagan Housing Awards of Excellence.
