Calgary MP Michelle Rempel will be in Penticton Sunday for a Conservative Party of Canada fundraiser.

She will join Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola MP Dan Albas and Penticton Conservative candidate Helena Konanz for a “Wine and Politics” night at the Great Estates wine centre at the Lakeside Resort.

“Known for speaking her mind, this evening should prove to be both educational and entertaining as Ms.Rempel takes us through the issues facing Canada in 2019,” a notice on the Central Okanagan CPC website says.

Rempel is currently the Shadow Minister for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship.

Tickets for the event Sunday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. are $99 with proceeds split between the two local riding associations.
