Amy Schumer joked about looking good during pregnancy while hooked up to an IV drip.

Weeks after revealing she was battling with the debilitating morning sickness condition hyperemesis gravidarum, the expectant actress and comedian shared a candid photo on Instagram, giving her followers an update on her health.

The snapshot showed Amy smiling while on a couch, hooked up to an IV, and her baby bump on show.

"Am I glowing? #hyperemesisgravidarum," she joked in the caption.

While her millions of followers offered up their sympathies, her celebrity friends were also quick to comment on the post.

Chris Pratt wrote: "YES!!", while Gwyneth Paltrow, who is mum to daughter Apple and son Moses, sweetly told Amy: "All kidding aside, you are a f'ing champ."

Chelsea Handler commented, "You know you are, girl," while mother-of-three Jennifer Garner wrote: "I tip my hat to you" alongside a love heart emoji.

Amy's ongoing battle with severe nausea is following the I Feel Pretty star into the second trimester of her pregnancy, and she shared a candid video on Instagram of her vomiting earlier this month.

"Hi I thought it might be fun to see me throwing up in a public bathroom," the comedian, 37, wrote in the caption. "Deep in my second trimester and all I can say is nope! Yesterday I did a show 90 minutes later. #soblessed #godsmiracle #lepainbathroom."

This is the second time the comedian and actress has shared a video of the effects of her nausea. Last month, she posted a clip of her vomiting before her stand-up show in Tarrytown, New York.

Amy's battle with hyperemesis gravidarum caused her to postpone dates on her comedy tour in November.
