Brazen smash and dash

Kamloops RCMP are on the hunt for two brazen jewellery store robbers.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said on Dec. 11 at approximately 5 p.m., two men with their faces covered entered Danielle’s Silver & Gold jewelry store in Sahali Mall and smashed glass display cases and stole jewelry.

The two suspects then left the mall via the Fox and Hound exit and fled on foot towards Sahali Terrace.

Suspect 1 is described as wearing a light grey or white hoody with the hood up, dark grey pants, white runners, white balaclava with black markings and white gloves with black on the knuckles. He was carrying a green recycling bag.

Suspect 2 was wearing a white parka-type jacket with a fur-lined hood.

The hood was up and his face was covered. He was carrying a pack.

“One suspect used a wrench to the break the glass in the cases, while the other used a ratchet,” said Shelkie.

“If you have any information about the suspects or the stolen jewelry please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.”
