Rockets lose 2nd coach

For the second time this season, the Kelowna Rockets have parted ways with one of their coaches.

President and general manager Bruce Hamilton announced Saturday the club has mutually agreed to part ways with assistant coach Travis Crickard.

Crickard has been with the Rockets since the beginning of 2014-2015.

He was brought on as an assistant and goalie coach.

"We'd like to thank Travis for his years of service," said Hamilton.

"He is a great person, we wish him all the best in the future."

Seven weeks ago, Jason Smith was fired, and replaced by Adam Foote.

No replacement for Crickard has been announced.
