Snow is expected throughout the Okanagan this evening and overnight.

Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton could see a couple of centimetres of snow this evening, with periods of snow continuing Monday morning.

Temperatures are currently sitting well below 0 C with the windchill but as the weather warms up more precipitation resulting in snow is excepted.

The Coquihalla Highway will also see a fresh layer of snow Sunday evening, so it's important to drive with caution.

With warmer weather expected throughout the week across the Okanagan more snow is expected.  

DriveBC reminds the public to avoid travelling on bad road conditions but if you must then use winter tires and drive with care.
