A GoFundMe page has been started for the family of a man killed by a hit-and-run driver in Terrace Sunday.

Cameron Kerr died after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. Police have identified a suspect in Kerr's death.

The GoFundMe page reads: “The 101 Industries Family would like to express their deepest condolences to the Kerr Family, on the devastating loss of their son, Cameron Kerr. 
Cameron, was a 30 year old resident of Terrace BC and was full of life and adventure.  He was a former hockey player with the Terrace River Kings, an active member of the paddling community and known for his love of the outdoors.
“Sadly his life was cut short on the morning of Sunday, November 18, when he was struck by a vehicle. We are seeking that the good people of the Northwest will come together and help aid in raising money for Cameron's memorial and his family.”


Tips from the public have helped RCMP identify a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run in Terrace.

A local man was killed Sunday after being struck by a vehicle,.

“Thanks to tips from the public, late Tuesday afternoon two pickup trucks, each towing trailers with boats were located on the Queen Charlotte Islands. One of the pickup trucks, a Ford F350, had damage
consistent with the collision in Terrace and is believed to be the suspect vehicle. Police have now seized two pickup trucks, two boats and three boat trailers as part of this investigation,” said Cpl. Mike Halskov.

“Seven individuals were identified and questioned by police and the investigation is ongoing to determine the exact roles of the individuals. Police are confident they have identified the suspect driver responsible for this fatal crash who is from the Lower Mainland area.”

Police are continuing to investigate this collision and anyone with information who has not already spoken with police are asked to call Sgt.
