Residents living on Dunn Street at the Southgate Manor say they have been the target of numerous thefts and attempted thefts for months on end.

Resident Dave Dvernychuk says people case his neighbourhood every second night looking for things to steal. 

"There is no end in sight. They seem to take whatever isn't nailed down like a garden hose and this is the second time that this fellow has been up snooping on our steps," Dvernychuk said. 

The concerned resident says he has all of the incidents on camera. 

"I go through the footage everyday and it really is just about every second night that there are people in the area that shouldn't be."

"A few of the neighbours have talked to RCMP, but they say there is nothing they can really do unless they are caught in the act," Dvernychuk.

Southgate Manor residents believe they are a targeted area because Inn From the Cold is just a couple of blocks down the road. 

"A lot of them I guess that don't get in hang out around here staying up all night.'

"They just keep coming. I would chase them out on foot, but they are just blind and deaf to people telling them to get out. They just don't care," Dvernychuk added.
