Vernon's Brett Taylor beat out his closest challenger to win the Vernon Wings wing eating contest on Thursday night.

Vernon's Brett Taylor beat out his closest challenger to win the Vernon Wings wing eating contest on Thursday night.
Taylor, who was also the 2014 champion, devoured 20 buffalo hot wings in 3:47, winning by just seconds.
Taylor will receive wings for a year and all competitors received a $25 gift card.
Taylor will represent Vernon at the provincial competition in Surrey Nov. 29, with a chance to win $500 and the BC Wings title.
