Coziest spots in Canada

Looking for the coziest destination in Canada?

Two of the top cities are right here in the Okanagan Valley, according to Expedia.ca's recent article on the 55 coziest cities in Canada.

Expedia.ca says a cozy city is a place with attractions that provide warmth, relaxation and community.

“It’s a city with a welcoming hotel at the end of the night. It’s a town that says, “You’re family here”,’ states the list.

Hotel data was collected for the list and each location chosen has at least 100 reviews with a comfort score of 3.5 stars and higher.

Apparently the list isn’t in any specific order, but West Kelowna was featured in spot number six.

“If you’re looking for a cozy vacation, you’re probably already on a flight to Okanagan Valley,” reads the list. “According to reviews, it looks like West Kelowna is really doing it right when it comes to lots o’ wine, lots o’ beer, and lots o’ comfort.”

Quail’s Gate and Little Straw Vineyard are featured in the West Kelowna section.

The top featured spot was Canmore, Alberta and notes its relaxing spas and sights will take guests breath away.

“There’s definitely something magical about it,” states the list.

And also on the list was Vernon. Penticton and Kelowna did not make the cut.
