Vehicles set on fire

Two vehicle fires in Vernon have been confirmed as arson, according to Vernon RCMP.

On Tuesday, just after 12 a.m., the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP were informed by Vernon Fire Rescue that they were on scene battling a suspicious vehicle fire in the 4000 block of Pleasant Valley Road.

On Wednesday, just before 4 a.m., fire crews were called to battle a two-vehicle fire in the 4300 block of Pleasant Valley Road.

Police attended both incidents and determined both to be suspicious.

Three vehicles, a Nissan Murano, Ford Fusion and a Buick Enclave were all destroyed due to the fires.

No one was injured in the incidents.
