Alex Witcombe created this statue of a Sasquatch in Rebecca Spit Provincial Park out of driftwood.
Sasquatch has been spotted on Quadra Island – sort of.
While the elusive ape-like beast has not been officially recognized as being real, the 225 kilogram wooden sculpture sure is.
The 2.5-metre tall work of art made of drift wood is roughly the size a 'real' Sasquatch is supposed to be.
Created by Alex Witcombe the depiction of 'Squatch stands on a trail in Rebecca Spit Provincial Park.
Witcombe said he hopes word of the sculpture will spread, encouraging people to visit the island, enjoy its trails and spend time in nature.
