Enbridge makes it right

After testing soil samples and beginning construction on a new road to help repair damage caused by a pipeline explosion last week, Enbridge now says they have no timeline for how long repairs will take.

The Transportation Safety Board, conducting the explosion investigation, has opened the area and now clean-up and repairs can begin.

Last Tuesday's explosion forced the temporary closure of the pipeline. A smaller line running parallel to the damaged line is supplying natural gas on a reduced basis.

The explosion has caused a ripple effect across the province and even into the United States.

Enbridge says they want to be a good neighbour and they recognize this explosion has had a serious impact on the community where the company operates, and they are working to make it right.
