Vipers lose heartbreaker

The Vernon Vipers lost a heartbreaker in the final seconds of Sunday's game in Chilliwack. 

The Vipers went into the third period leading the Chiefs 2-1, after goals from Teddy Wooding and Sebastian Streu. However, the Chiefs quickly tied it up, before potting the winner with 21 seconds left in the game. 

Vipers goalie Max Palaga, who received the games second star, made 37 saves in the game. 

Next game for the Vipers will be Wednesday when they host the Trail Smoke Eaters at KalTire Place.

The Vipers have a record of four wins and five losses to start the season.
