Penticton's Many Hats Theatre company has announced auditions for its 12th season of community theatre. 

Every local with dreams of basking in the glow of stage lights can audition for the five productions that Many Hats will be putting on throughout their 2019 season. 

"We have a great lineup," said Eric Hanston, executive producer for the company.

"Comedy, drama, and high-energy antics. Something for everyone! We are hoping to build on the success of Many Hats' 11 previous seasons. We want to thank South Okanagan audiences for their continuing support!"

Open auditions for the five productions, which are Swing Dance, Odd Couple: Female Version, The Savannah Sipping Society, This Random World and Drawer Boy, will be held Oct. 30 on the Cannery Stage starting at 6:30 p.m.

Actors of all ages are asked to attend. A prepared monologue, headshot and acting resume are welcomed, but are not required. 

Auditionees should be prepared to be photographed and may be asked to read from one of the scripts.
