Election'18 Bobby Kennedy

Kelowna businessman Bobby Kennedy has thrown his hat in to the ring to become the city's next mayor.

Kennedy, who owns the Bakery Boardshop and Lounge, is making his third run at civic office.

He was unsuccessful in council bids in 2014 against 30 other contenders, and in 2011 in a field of 40.

Kennedy has run on a platform of trying to find ways of increasing revenue, rather than asking the taxpayers for more money. His main revenue source is the City Cannabis Tax, or CCT.

He sat down with Okanagan Oldies 103.9 morning show host Gord Vizzutti to talk about his vision of Kelowna.
